Ferrari announced a future goal at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show that they would produce sports cars with emission reduction of 40% by 2012. Apparently, even rich people demand hybrid joy ride from the wild pony. The photo showed above is an ethanol-fueled F430 prototype has extra 10bhp and 5% less emissions comparing to the current model. The dream sports car is slower going green. By the time it’s eco-friendly, some of us might actually be able to afford it. Check out the video below. [jalopnik]
