Gift Packaging Helps Retailers and Gift Packagers Go Green
Noble Gift Packaging, a leading innovator of custom-designed gift packaging, unveiled a new 32-page, color catalogue that makes it easy for packagers and retailers to go green and look good doing it. The catalogue introduces the new ZeroTree(TM) collection of stylish bags and other eco-friendly packaging products, which are made from a variety of environmentally responsible materials and techniques that reduce reliance on trees and encourage recycling and reuse.
“Our Eco-Friendly Packaging Catalogue is a convenient, one-stop shop that is filled with trendy, innovative products that make an environmental statement,” says Samuel Herzog, executive vice president, Noble Gift Packaging. “From bags made of PET bottles to those that incorporate abaca fibers, the items in our ZeroTree(TM) collection are ideal marketing vehicles that can be custom-designed with company messages and in many cases reused.”
Available to retailers and gift packagers throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, Noble’s eco-friendly catalogue offers everything from bags and pouches to wrapping and tissue papers that can be used to package an array of items such as clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, shoes, candy, wine and other foods and gifts.
To help packagers more easily determine which earth-friendly product makes the most sense for their needs, the catalogue details the specific materials used to develop each bag and the environmental benefits derived from its use. Among the array of eco-friendly materials used in the ZeroTree line are stone, abaca plants, bamboo, jute, recycled plastic bottles, recycled polypropylene, and cotton. The bags are available in a variety of designs, shapes and colors. [Noble Packaging]

Recycled packaging is simply common sense, it may cost just a little more initially, but the end justifies the means where only the environment can win, as pollution and waste are reduced. The Weather’s Wrath, it’s a great title and written by Ade Paul ISBN 9780473131500. It has a great notes section discussing the skeptics debate, this has merits, but each can be debated against, in saying this, accurate records of climate have only been taken in the past decade to give true readings compared to historical estimates or data. Any scientist will accept this data is so recent no trends can be theorised or statistical data assessed to compare to earlier longitudinal or cross-sectional studies, but even it is or isn’t warming, we as homo sapiens should NOT BE SO ARROGANT, SELFISH AND NAIVE to demand we keep our high luxury standard of living without making an effort to limit our pollution, and that goes for almost every citizen in first world countries, even lower socio-economic classes here live well, TV, washing machine, fridge/freezer, car etc, all things we take for granted and expect, but these need power and it ALL COSTS, but what is the intangible costs to the environment? Surely you are not that arrogant to believe you are not affecting the environment, killing species you didn’t even know were there.
So think next time outside the box, and not in your safe little box to maintain Maslov’s critieria for survival.
