Unpredictable gas prices and concerns over global warming have drivers and carmakers alike looking to hybrid vehicles. But is a hybrid the right choice for you? A lot of people think switching to hybrid is a smart move, some have other opinion. Clean Air Even in Beijing
Two indoor air quality (IAQ) experts who are in China to work with athletes during the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games announced today that they have achieved up to 99% purity of the indoor air in their Beijing apartment. They installed specialized ultra-high efficiency air cleaning equipment to demonstrate that despite Beijing’s reputation as having the world’s worst air pollution problem — it is possible to create healthy indoor environments anywhere in the world. BMW Joins the 2008 Hydrogen Road Tour
The BMW Hydrogen 7 — the first hydrogen-powered luxury sedan — joins an unprecedented cross-country journey featuring hydrogen-powered cars by the world’s leading automakers in the 2008 Hydrogen Road Tour.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle from Volkswagen
Volkswagen’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell concept vehicle, the HyMotion Tiguan, will travel from Portland, Maine to Los Angeles, Calif. over the next 13 days as part of the National Hydrogen Road Tour, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation, the California Fuel Cell Partnership, the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Hydrogen Association.
Study Shows One-Third of Car Shoppers Prefer Fuel-Efficient Cars
According to the latest Kelley Blue Book Marketing Research studies conducted on the company’s top-rated Web site http://www.kbb.com, the vast majority (nearly 90%) of car shoppers say they are concerned about the future of our environment. Among the survey respondents, 80% believe that individuals should make lifestyle changes in order to reduce CO2 emissions. Furthermore, 75% of shoppers say they have made changes to further the betterment of the environment, with the top lifestyle changes mentioned being recycling (54%), cutting back on driving (46%) and purchasing a fuel-efficient car (31%). 25 Green Colleges and 10 Hot Green Careers
